Περίληψη: Huge geospatial datasets are available on the Web (e.g., OpenStreetMap, US Census Bureau files). LinkedGeoData is an ongoing effort to enrich the Semantic Web with a spatial dimension, using information collected by the OpenStreetMap project. In addition, large bases with common knowledge facts in the form of RDF graphs, such as YAGO and DBpedia, include millions of geo-tagged entities. Such large, geographically-enriched RDF graphs demand effective and scalable management, maintenance, and growth. In this talk, I will present our efforts in this direction, which can be divided in two categories. The first one includes our research on indexing existing spatial RDF knowledge bases, in order to support effective and efficient structured and keyword-based search. The second category includes our work on spatial interlinking of different datasets, aiming at the growth of knowledge bases by integrating data from different sources. Directions for future research will also be discussed.
