In this course we will examine the dominant views in contemporary analytic philosophy on the nature, sources and limits of knowledge. Among the issues that will be explored are the traditional definition of the concept of knowledge and the problems it presents, the main internalist and externalist theories of justification (foundationalism, contextualism, reliability theory, etc.), experience and reason as sources of knowledge, various skeptical issues around the limits of knowledge and the problem of realism.
