We have a funded PhD studentship available within the Stirling Vision and Image Processing Group <http://vip.cs.stir.ac.uk/>, at the University of Stirling, UK to work on ‘Domain Specific Optimisation Techniques for Real-time Image/Signal Processing on Heterogeneous FPGA+CPU platform’.
Jointly funded by ST Microelectronics (http://www.st.com) Imaging Division, Edinburgh and the University of Stirling (http://www.stir.ac.uk), the project will be focused on real industrial and product development requirements and will require the implementation of key image processing algorithms with stringent power, memory and speed efficiency targets.
